OK here we go..I will try to be as simple as I can.
I am tired of WH,H, alternative reality, parallel universe etc.
I want to say what have I been thinking this whole time since season 5 started. Since they introduced time travel in this show (although they repeatedly denied the possibility) I was wondering why show us two different ways? Conciseness time traveling and physical time traveling? Whats the point in having Desmond? I was riddled..
After seeing "The Incident" it never crossed my mind, not in any point that Jacks "brilliant" plan will actually work. Since we know that the bomb never went off. So thats WH,H. And in this case I stick to it. Because the idea of hydrogen bomb getting of means that every single person on that island is dead. Meaning the finale of season 5 is the end of Lost. Could be. Unlikely.
The white light riddles me too. Because it is second time I saw the same white light around the Swan hatch. And lets not confuse this light with the FDW light. I think these are two different lights. They look the same but their effect on its surroundings is quite different. The Swan light can shift your present brain to your past body. Example: Desmond. The Orchid light means only one thing. The era of time traveling started. And some nose bleeds are coming your way.
So this is the reason why they showed us Desmond turning the failsafe key. This is the reason for Flashes before your eyes episode. It never made much sense to me. Why? Why? Why?
Now I know why.
Jack, Kate, Sawyer..3 main characters who were in the epicenter of the explosion were the only ones from the original 815 crew who witnessed this white light, the incident if you like. And once Juliet hit the bomb and once the white light appeared (it doesn't necessarily mean the bomb went off. Remember what Chang said..if they keep on drilling and if they drill one cm further then God help them all. And what? They kept on digging since the machine couldn't be stopped. I guess God help us all) Jack, Kate, Sawyer were sent back to past..I mean future. :)
So their present conciseness switched from their present bodies to their past bodies. Meaning we are back in Season 1, with these characters again on the plane but never landing on LAX because that would simply be stupid. Like Locke always said..it was their destiny to land on that island. And they will. Every single time. The catch is that these 3 have always remembered..they always had memories. I have no idea what happened with Juliet and Miles but I am guessing that Miles is somewhere in time..perhaps off island in the real world 2004 and Juliet is dead. The Juliet we are gonna see again is the Juliet we all know as the Other, Juliet who shocked Sawyer and brought sandwiches to Jack and had a book club meeting when plane crashed on their island.
but you will ask, how come they don't remember each other? They do...but not entirely. Remember Desmond..he regained his memories with time..day by day. Perhaps, Jack, Kate and Sawyer are the ones who remember entirely but the others like Jin, Sayid, Rose and Bernard are the people who remember partially..hence Rose saying that the smoke monster sounded familiar..or that she knows her husband is alive..she could feel it and she knew..sort of like a deja vu for those who were not in the epicenter of the bright white light but for those 3..Sawyer, Kate and Jack. They were fully aware of it.
The 3 of them were connected right from the start..especially Jack and Kate. Sawyer was bitter. So much that it looked fake. As if he wanted them all to stay away from him. As if he lost something more than his parents 30 years ago. But reliving something like this island and especially once he lost Juliet with whom he finally found happiness due to Jacks and Sayids brilliant decisions (shooting Ben, blowing up the hydrogen bomb etc) he has every right to be pissed. And his anger is pointed toward everyone but especially these two. Jack and Sayid.
Just re watch the season 1 again thinking what I just wrote here..and you will see what am I on here.
So weather this is WH,H, parallel universe, alternative reality I dont care..this is what I think it will happen.
They will show us that these people who were once in DI times are the people from those times..some of them with their full "memories" and some with partial.
And that will be shown in few first episodes and then something similar like Desmond in the bar...something will happen that will shift them back to the present time or it will never happen, unfortunately for Jin and Sun..but Jacob gave them advice not to take their love for granted, didn't he?
Not everything we've seen during these 5 seasons was this scenario. Sometimes something had to happen once. And it did. Once. For the first time. When they first crashed. At that point they never knew each other. So my opinion is that the editing and storytelling in this show is original and brilliant. And season 6 is here to show us how magicians pulled it off. What were we missing. Season six is filling in the blanks. No LAX and safe landing..no ALT but also no WH,H..because something needs to play out differently if we want this circle to end. But who knows maybe Darlton never had the plan of ending the circle. And they, all of them became during these iterations truly LOST.
Thanks for reading.
