Christian tells Locke to move the island in season 4.
He doesn't.
Locke sees Christian again and Christian tells him that he SHOULD have moved the island.
Now, this is pretty incredible to me. Why? Because lets say John DID move the island. He was never told to bring the 06 back. So, John would probably not kill himself because he wouldn't need to convince everyone to go back.
This means MIB's original plan probably would not have worked. Which again, is something you wouldn't expect from what we know of him.
What matters is that Christian or MIB wanted something to happen, to start a chain of events, and it DIDN'T HAPPEN.
I believe Christian was truly dissapointed with Locke.
What does that mean?
It means that christian or MIB, actually LIKES locke. Lockes views are pretty similar to MIB's. Locke kills naomi. Thats an MIB thing, not a Jacob thing. When has Locke ever done anything that supports Jacob's views?
I'm a HUGE locke fan, and I believe he is the hero of the show, but he is WAY more MIB than Jacob.
Locke's sacrifice of Boone is a lot like MIB's sacrifice of Locke.
Lockes death leads to the death of Jacob.
Boone's death leads to the saving of Desmonds life, and the swan station.
Just because Locke sacrificed boone, it didn't mean he hated Boone, or looked at him like a pawn. John felt sad.
MIB believes Locke was on his side. Even though it may SEEM like MIB murdered Locke, Locke died for the cause he was fighting for.
