was watching The incident again and something kinda slapped me in the face while watching the conversation with Jacob and MIB.
"you have any idea how badly i want to kill you"
"yes"
keeping in mind Lost creators love to throw subtle clues everywhere in the show, could Jacob saying "yes" mean something?
perhaps jacob actually DOES know MIB wants to kill him. how? maybe because Jacob planned it to be this way.
we always knew that a Jacob character existed throughout the series but we never saw him till now. have we ever heard of another character that is as special as jacob? no. what if this MIB character is just a random nobody that Jacob has brought to the island and given a gift by jacob to take over dead bodies or whatever else he does. Jacob lives under a foot, by himself, with a fireplace and tapestry. if i were him id to want a challenge in life rather then being the ONLY "god".
maybe he gave MIB these gifts so he could have someone to fight with. a rival in life. opposites attract right? maybe jacob was that bored in life he wanted someone to tell him NO so he could take a step back for once instead of doing the same thing over and over with noone to challenge him.
theres probably alot of holes here and im sure im missing out on some info that slaps this theory in the face and tell it its nonsense. but hey, its a theory right? just another thing to open up our minds about this show.
anyways let me know wat u guys think and if i got no clue wat im saying, please send some sense to my head :)
cheers
