Hey guys, I know this theory might sound a little out of left field, but it just hit me in terms of something 'interesting' that could happen in the final season. I know that Kevin Durand's character Martin Keamy is probably not that important to the overall plot except for being the one who killed Alex (which makes you instantly blame Widmore allegedly above all else).
I thought of something though randomly about what happened when Keamy died. He was stabbed in the back by Ben in the that Ben stabbed Jacob...and the whole thing was in front of no one else but Locke. I find this worthy of note because both these deaths happen in places of significance, especially when Keamy's death happened in the Orchid Station. Know I don't think that it's some magic Bunny/box Lazarus chamber, but clearly the fact that Keamy's body is rotting down there with no burial or protection against the forces of the island (as in he doesn't have is eyes closed or is buried), then maybe he is still a potential player in the Islands game (since when Locke fell down the well, "Christian" was there to give him instructions, showing that it is entirely possible that we could see a dead version of Keamy back in the final season to be used against Ben one more time.
The most important thing I realize though is the manner of death that occurs. In the episode Locke actually knocks Keamy down and out, and almost offers both him and Ben a chance for redemption by telling them both they don't have to kill (Keamy has the dead man switch while Ben has the ability to stab him). It's like Jacob with the Losties when you think about it and how he almost seems to have the ability to just flip a switch and have them all killed if he wanted to. So what I guess I'm also saying ultimately in the end is that maybe like the consequences of killing Keamy lead to so many deaths on the Kahana. Maybe killing Jacob will have a similar effect on the Island.
