hey guys,
i was watching further instructions the other day, which is the set up for eko's episode cost of living. i noticed that once eko is recovered, he acts very strangely. somewhat distant, and clearly not himself. it just reminded me of when claire's house exploded and she seemed far off and not quite there.
but then i watched cost of living, and when eko is heading to the pearl, he has visions of the people that he's killed in the past, and that little kid. now this could've just been the smoke monster, or mib, but after claire's possible 'death' or whatever, she saw people from her past too, like charlie and her dad (there was a deleted scene with her and hurley in the house just after it happened, where she sees christian in the bedroom corner).
so now i'm thinking hmm, is this how they might explain her absence? just get someone to say like 'oh mr. eko had that too'... i mean, we only have like, what 18 hours left of lost? you think they might be able to use one to talk about claire? i'm hoping they give us a claire-centric episode that works kind of like michael's episode three minutes where they flash to important moments we hadn't seen yet, but have already happened. like just have it starting from when the house exploded, with her seeing charlie: lovely interaction.. and then flash to when christian picked her up in the middle of the night.. in the cabin with locke.. behind sun in namaste.. and other good stuff.
one of the biggest things that's irked me with the show was claire's disappearance.. i think i was one of the only people who really liked her on the screen. hopefully they make it something really sick. i'm really pumped to see if they make her a character fully involved with the mythology and sci-fi wtf moments of the show.
pfft, i sound like a dork. alright guys, let me know what you're thinking.
:)
