Ok, right after season 5 ended i wrote a theory about the reversed reality of the show. Briefly i will just sum up the key point of that thoery: LOST is all about people trying to change their lives to the best by controlling their reality (fate-destiny) and some people who just want to get at of it, and reteurn to their previous lives (science-free will.
on the island they have a chance to do that by facing enormously difficult tasks.
season 6 ill be a reverted reality for our losties. i beleieve that each and every one of them will be a better ''form'' of his/her older self. By saying that i mean they will have learned from their mistakes and will not repeat them. season 6 will be doing all things the other way, not just reacting like jack, but thinking like sawyer, not exploring trying to find the mystery like locke and falling into traps like sayid but making coordinated strategies for basic survival. the bottom line is that everyone has leraned their lesson and will not make the same mistkes ever again.
Reality might have also changed in the island. It is possible, that the reality, like the LOST logo, has changed from dark to light. everything will be clear in our losties minds now, enlgited. Just a small part like the LOST letters logo will be dark for them, their ultimate destiny in other words, but their paths to it will be clear-white. So the island has no more secrets for them, everyting is set for the end of the game and the white backgamon pieces have the majority of the table.
Everything will be different maybe even reversed. Charlie clear of drugs, Shannon and Boone together no fighting, Sayid not mass torturer, Sawyer not a conn man but an honsest bloke and all sorts of nice things. People rewarded from the island....
