I beleive Julliet detonated Jughead and Oceanic Flight 815 will land in LAX. The first few episodes will show the characters that Jacob touched in the flashbacks returning to their lives.
The characters that Jacob touched will be drawn back to the island.
Call it course correction or whatever you want but our current main cast(off island) will be drawn somehow to get on Ajaira 316 in 2007 and will crash land on the island in the middle of Season 6.
The sides of the war are really about science vs faith Dharma/The Others. The Dharma Initiative is about their science and The Others are about their faith in the island.
Lost will not end where it began with the crash of 815. People will feel cheated if it is one gigantic loop.
Lost's final scene will be similar to the begining of the Season 5 finale.
We will see two characters sitting on the beach Jack in white and Locke in Black. They will be having the same conversation as Jacob and the black shirt man did. Destiny vs Fate. Science vs Faith.
