I read most theories on hear but if it is plaugarism, credit goes to you!
The thing that has gotten me about this the whole time is we are calling them Jacob and men in black. Are they both what they seem at all times?
E.G. Did Jacob touch everyone or did MIB? I know we have clothes colours to go on, but if MIB can become John Locke, then surely he could imitate Jacob by wearing white! Maybe HE needs Illana to come back. I know she is looking for 'what lies in the shadow of the statue?'. But maybe that is all MIB has to go on too. Perhaps when the day comes after the night Jacob is killed we will find the shadow is on MIB. Maybe.
This idea (lets not really call it a theory) can be applied to other scenes too!
