I was rewatching a moment ago when I noticed the woven fabric Ilana took from Jacob's cabin...there at the foot of the statue was a boat (looks like the Black rock) sideways up against the statue which leads me to believe that what knocked the statue over is the black rock. I had been thinking for sometime what could have done that and it just hit me moments ago...anyhow that is what I think happened to the statue.
As for Jacob I think he was definitely taken out by the devilish character on the island and wonder if the man that pretending to be locke was like the serpant and appeared to John as His daughter Alex. It makes sense because we all noticed that he disapeared when ben went down in the temple and was "judged" Ben said he was going to be judged for one thing and Locke the impersonator said no thats not why you are going because you let them kill your daughter...just like he convinced Ben to kill Jacob...I think that dude is a serpant talking devil guy...What is his name I need a name for the man I loath after one episode!!!!
