Something About Smokey by mredude

Ok its pretty obvious to me that Essau (sorry if I spelled this wrong) is a manipulator and that jacob would have never taken the form of smokey... its also very obvious now that when they went to the temple and locke dissapeared that esau became smokey and convinced ben to do his bidding. My theory however is about the ashes surrounding the cabin. I believe that smokey/esau can be imprisoned by the ashes. another hint of this is when we see the cabin again with Ilana and she sees the tapestry stuck to the wall with the knife (a hunter/esau's knife) somehow the circle of ash was disturbed which allowed esau to escape?

I would like to hear others comments on this :)
