On EW.com's "Lost" show, Damon and Carlton were asked to give 2 cryptic spoilers for the finale. Carlton told us that we would see something big, which was probably referring to the statue. Damon told us "It would be a touching finale." But then he went on to say that "touching" might not mean emotional.
Then in the finale, I was watching Jacob interact with all the losties and he touching them all. Then I remembered the episode where Locke falls down the well and breaks his leg. He sees Christian and Christian tells him what to do. However, Christian doesn't touch Locke. In fact, even though Locke has broken his leg, Christian still won't help him. Perhaps the reason why he doesn't help Locke is because he CAN'T touch Locke, or the others (From last night, it appears that Christian doesn't speak for Jacob, but for the other person we saw at the beginning of the finale).
I don't exactly know how this fits in with the series, but this was just my observation. It's probably crazy, but it might be important later on.
