That reminds me the ending of matrix...i mean...when i first saw the episode i said...my god, not another matrix...so we have to opposite theories. One that is supported by eusau and one by jacob...eusau is like the architect from the matrix...he believes all of this is a circle that always ends the same...
Jacob is the oracle from the matrix...he tries to help, as he believes that this is just progress and things will evolve in a different way...
In this case..Jack is our Neo who fights to change the shape of things to come....and possessed-locke is agent smith (remember how smith could take over the body of everyone in the matrix)and in a vicious way kills jacob...
BUT at the same time our dear Juliet knocks a nuclear device while calling it names and BOOM BABE...lost...(my girlfriend said that the fact that the lost logo in the end was in negative colours for a reason but i believe it was for an effect).If Mr Farady is correct...then jacob will never die as locke will never arrive on the island...
So yes we are once more left with the biggest cliffhanger in the history of television....but i guess we got used to it...i mean it's been five years!!!!
