Ok, there is a lot of speculation that Locke might be Jacob. Well -- maybe he is -- sort of.
What if at some point Locke figures out how to time travel (just him, no one else) and by doing so he creates all these little alternate realities or iterations of himself? So somehow Locke is in more than one place at a time (i.e., BAD TWIN) and he knows exactly where he is going to be, so he has to go around killing the other versions of himself on the island? Like, maybe the Locke we saw last night was a dubious Locke and manipulated Richard into telling the other Locke to go and die, because he had to die.
Maybe all those times Ben killed Locke, he actually killed him but the new Locke would show up and that was a John Locke from another time or something like that?
What if Locke was in the cabin in Season 3 staring back at Locke because it was a time-traveling Locke on the other side? What if Jacob is some good version of Locke in the past, that the bad, corrupted, time-traveling Locke wants to find so he can kill him.
So Jacob is Locke, but it is one of many Lockes all around the island.
A bit far fetched, but can you imagine if it were true?!
I just teared up a little. That would be un-freaking-real.
Thanks for the read!
