This is only a little observation I made after watching the episode "The variable".
I realized that Charlotte, Daniel and Miles are all linked to the same fate. They were all born on the Island and their destiny is bound to it.
We already have seen that bad things happens to newborns on the Island. In season 3 we were informed that pregnancy on the Island will eventually result in death of the mother, as well as the son.
It seems however that even if there were no problem during birth, the fate of the newborn is inevitable: they were destined to die on the Island. This is for example the fate of Charlotte and, as we have seen in this episode, of Daniel Faraday as well.
We know also that Miles was born on the Island, so it should be a good bet to hypotize his death at same point of the story.
An interesting fact is that the trio, Charlotte, Daniel and Miles, were engaged by Charles Wildmore to return to the island, possibly with the support of Eloise Hawking. It seems that this return was forced to close open loops, to fulfill a destiny which both Charles and Eloise are aware of: their death.
I noted also another fact that can be significant. On the timeline of the Island, Daniel actually died before he was born. Also Charlotte presumably died before her birth, as a consequence of the timeskips that brought her in the '50. This is disturbing... It is like they were not meant to exist at all.
A further note on Aaron. He also was born on the Island. According to my hypothesis, he also is destined to die on it. This could be the reason why Claire vehemently prohibited Kate to bring him back to the Island.
That's all.
