I have read many theories today and I have to say that I dissagree with those who believe the bomb will not be exploded. I believe the bomb in 1977 is the reason in the future women could not carry and give birth to a live baby, hence why Julia was brought to the Island. This radiation will also explain why the Island seems to be able to cure people of cancer and other illnesses. Maybe the Island is not as mystical as we think!
