I forgot that Danielle was the one who captured Ben and handed him to Sayid without telling him he stole her kid??? Man who stole Alex.
It is not something you just forget. You cannot forget the man who stole your first born child. So she trapped him. trapped Ben??? Come on! That is impossible. Ben is smarter then that. We all know that. Ben is the man with the plan. So what was the plan here? I believe he wanted to meet Locke and all the Others. He wanted to see them with his own eyes. To see it means to believe it. Sawyer, Jack, Kate...he remembered them. Locke? Well probably not because he never saw him. But he was a man who was paralyzed before the crash and could suddenly walk right after. He was special and Ben was afraid of him. Why? Because in season 5, Because you left, Ethan came across Locke who told him pretty much everything before vanishing. The most important part, he told him his name and that he was pointed to be a new leader by Benjamin Linus. Ethan reported what he saw and heard to Ben. And once Mikhail handed files on survivors to Ben, Ben had some very good stuff to read. He saw familiar! faces (and if we assume he will not remember anything before he got shot by Sayid it doesn't mean he will not remember after, because he will go back to DI and he will live with them all for at least few months if not years), he recognized them and it was a shock, he saw a name John locke and he decided to make the first move and set things in motion.
Was there some kind of agreement between Danielle and Ben? Why would she handed him over to Sayid? She knew he was one of them..She said: HE IS ONE OF THEM. So Why? Why wouldn't she torture him the same way she tortured Sayid and asked Ben where is Alex cause he was the one who took her in a first place? I never thought of that! Because at that point I was distracted..I was wondering who the hell is this great man? :) Is he really Henry Gale? How did he came to this island? And by the time I realized he was the leader of the Others I was thinking about Hatch who was blown up and what will happen to Kate, sawyer and Jack. So i forgot he was the man who took Alex from Danielle. But know I remembered. And I don't understand it. Why would she do that?
