Ben pushed the wheel. In season 4 we saw what happened to O6 but in season 5 we were given an answer about the rest of them. The thing I noticed and found very strange is Richard, again. He is an Other who didn't flash along with Locke. It was in fact Locke who disappeared. In Jughead Richard didn't see the bright light. Ethan as well. Danielle too. Only time travelers noticed the bright light. And Desmond over the hatch. But then again we know that Desmond is special. Uniquely special. The rules don't apply on him. What does that mean? It means he was in epicenter when explosion/implosion happened and he gained the ability of time travel. To relive his past with his future knowledge. Is that the reason he noticed the bright light of time skipping? But wait he didn't gain his ability yet. It is months ahead. So why? How is it possible that he sees it? And Danielle doesn't? Or is it possible that once he gained the ability then he has it in past, present and future. Meaning i! t already happened before? And he bend the rules. Rules of time travel? Now back to the "Because you left". When we first see John Locke sitting on a rock and the sky turned all light he saw the light. He covered his eyes with his arm. But so did Richard who was sitting behind him. He covered his eyes with his arm. I noticed it yesterday and I was like wtf??? What it is that we are not seeing? Why? What does it mean? Is it possible that he is uniquely special like Desmond? That he can change things? Is he a wild card too? But if he knows the future than how is it possible he has no idea who Kate is or Sawyer in the past? It doesn't make any sense.
Since I am talking about Desmond, comparing him with Richard I need to point two very strange things I noticed regarding him too.

Jack is on the stadium. Running. He sees man running. Running faster than him. Jack who has that spirit in him...ego..wants to catch up with another man. The other man starts running faster. Jack too. Then he fell and hurt his ankle. The other man came to see if he is ok. And then the story goes....
Desmond: Are you alright brother?
Jack: I am fine..I am Fine!!
Desmond: Take it easy. Keep the weight of. Does this hurt?
Jack waving no..
Desmond: You haven't sprained it then.
(then it is not quite clear to me what Des said but something like Jack wanted to catch up with him)
Jack: I wasn't trying to catch up with you.
Desmond: I..of course you weren't.
Jack: What do you know about sprains then?
Desmond: I was almost a doctor once.
Jack: Small world.
Desmond: You are a doctor then?
Jack nodes yes.
Desmond: So whats your excuse?
Jack: Excuse?
Desmond: For running like the devils chasing you. My excuse..I am training.
Jack: Training for what?
Desmond: For the race around the world. Impressive, I know. So your excuse better be good brother.
Jack: I was just trying to work few things out.
Desmond: Aaaa. A girl right?
Jack: A patient.
Desmond: Girl patient. Whats her name?
Jack: Her name is Sarah.
Desmond: What did you do to her then?
Jack: Do to her?
Desmond: You must've done something worthy of this self flagellation.
Jack: I told her...I made a promise I couldn't keep. I told her I will fix her and I couldn't. I failed.
Desmond: Right. Just one thing. What if you did fix her?
Jack: I didn't.
Desmond: But what if you did?
Jack: You don't know what you are talking about man.
Desmond: I know.
Jack: With her situation it would be a miracle, brother.
Desmond: Ah. And you don't believe in miracles?
Jack laughed.
Desmond: Well then. I am gonna use some advice anyway. You have to lift it up................................(moment of silence)
Jack: Lift it up?
Desmond is looking at him. Smiling. Looking at him. Silence.
Desmond: (smiles) Your ankle. You got to keep it elevated. It's been nice chatting.
Jack: Jack.
Desmond: Jack, I am Desmond. Good luck, brother. See you in another life.
Why did I do this? Because I want to make a point. I tend to believe that Desmond already know who Jack is. Past Desmond body with Future Desmond knowledge. I was under a strong impression Desmond knows him, first time I saw this scene. He was pretty weird. He was running as if he knew that Jack will follow him. As if he knew his character. And as if he knew if he keeps running faster then jack will follow him..that will lead him to injury which will allow Desmond to approach him with a good reason and start a casual small talk. He was pretty forward and pushy in this scene. As if he knew what is the only thing Jack is missing..well two things. One that he needs to get rid of and another to gain. Ego and faith. This whole scene was about that. And he knew Jack did fix her. I wonder was Jack thinking of this Desmond after he came back to hospital and after he realized he actually did fix her and miracle just happened. Was he thinking how strange that was? At the very end of t! his episode the two of them meet. Yes in another life. I thought Desmond would be pleased to see Jack, since he was pretty pleasant on the stadium but no he wasn't, quite opposite. That lead me to believe that this Desmond we saw on the stadium was Desmond we know now who flashed back and tried to influence past Jack. "You have to lift it up" I know it wasn't ankle he was talking about. That line sounded familiar and then I remembered.

It was carved on Ekos stick. John saw it while they were burring him after Smoke killed him. Desmond was present.
"Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God."
When we add the last words: "You are next" I think we could say it meant that John Locke was next to be visited by Smoke Monster and when we add the fact that John Locke was dead and then resurrected and found standing in the water I thinks it is safe to assume this was the message directed directly to John Locke from the things he saw within Smoke. Man born of water and the spirit is none other then Locke. By using this message from Eko he found Jack (that lead him to Galaga...and becoming one of the Others and soon after that being a leader of the Others) and at the same time Desmond who was present in the moment of the revelation started having his flashes back to his past. We only saw the one in Flashes Before the Eyes two episodes from this one and the moment when Desmond decided to run away from Penny which lead him to Jack.
Flashes before your eyes showed us a scene between Charlie and Desmond. Right after he met Charles Widmore for the first time. Charlie was singing Oasis Wonderwall. Desmond recognized him and then it started to rain. In Greats Hits (Charlie centric) we saw the exact same scene. Charlie was singing Oasis Wanderwall and in the middle of the song it started to rain. I believe it was the same moment but this time without Desmond talking to him (I know it is England but really is it possible that the same thing happened to him twice? It started to rain at exact moment while he was singing the same song in a same line). This time Charlie was interrupted just with the rain and few seconds later he bumped into Nadia who was getting robbed in the alley. He wrote that moment down while sitting with Desmond?? preparing to dive to the Looking Glass as one of his Greatest Hits of his life. I mean where was Desmond this time? What are we missing?
