This is my theory to support the “Whatever Happened Happened” route. Which by the way is the direction I am leaning towards. ‘
So this is what I think is happening(or rather has happened). So some of our losties end up in 1977 and because of their actions towards little Ben(Sayid shoots him, Jack not wanting to save him) he is taken to Richard and the others and took into the temple and from this moment on he will be “different”. I think Richard will “save” Ben and then Ben will return to Dharmaville and resume his life as he is supposed to. He will do the purge when he is around 30 and he will kill his father and become the leader of the others. Because of our losties Ben has become the evil man we all love to hate. Ben seemed to be a good kid until our losties showed up. I think that Jack, Kate,Hurley,Sawyer,Miles and Juliet will have to join the others because their cover will be blown. Probably from something that Daniel will do that will cause “the incident”. They will join up with the others and find that Rose, Bernard etc… are also hanging with the others. Whether or not! they have been told about the time jumping or explained by Richard what has happened …I’m not sure…but for whatever reason they will all meet up again(VINCENT!!!). I think that Richard will tell them to go into the temple for protection when the incident is going down. Daniel will be the one that turns the wheel in 1977 and puts the island to the time it is supposed to be(2007/2008?). Whether or not the temple could have any time traveling abilities I am not sure of this, but I think Daniel will die during the incident, trying to put the island where(when) it is supposed to be. The clincher is that I see in my head is Locke etc… eventually stumble upon the temple in present time(07/08) and I think our losties will come walking out of the temple and they should still be young cuz they were in the temple and Richard never seems to age and maybe this is how. But they will have been waiting in the temple for Locke…for 30 years….Theory by shoegirl927
