What if we're supposed to take more from Ilana's question than just it being code for identifying "allies" after the crash? What if the answer is actually important, and we already know what the answer is?
A lot of people have already inferred that Ilana is working for Widmore, based on her interactions with Sayid. I think it's safe to assume this is the case, and Widmore gave certain people the task of going back to the island to meet up at the place that "lies in the shadow of the statue." When Ilana told everyone they were moving out and taking Frank with them, I believe they were moving to that spot, which is...
...the Orchid. It's clear to me that Widmore knows more than he's letting on (it wouldn't be LOST if there weren't a few characters like that), and I think he knows full well about the time-travel station through Locke. Because he spent so much time on the island, I think Widmore knows about the statue, and knows about the well Locke climbed down, and knows that the Orchid is there. I believe he wants his new team (Ilana and the others with the guns) to utilize the station to somehow get him back to the island. How that will happen, I haven't the foggiest, but I think we should be expecting Ilana and company to start moving towards the Orchid, which is located behind the giant statue, thus it "lies in the shadow of the statue."
