We know that Paik Heavy industries is linked to Charles Widmore. After sun met him after returning from the Island, Mr Widmore stated that he knew her father well.
I think the company is a cover up for Charles Widmore. I think that Paik Heavy indutries, actually makes Ships and planes to travel to the Island. After looking into it, I found some information regarding the Hanso Foundation, and a book called "the bad twin" which has refrences, to this story line. Paik Heavy Industires is in the book as well as a man whom Mr Paik works for... Clifford Widmore. Also that Paik Heavy industries built a custom made ship for the Hanso Foundation.

I think sun is aware of all this, now being partial owner of the comapny, and meeting with widmore. She wants to find her husband yes, but she also wants to see what her father has been up to all these years.
