So here's the deal... What is Lost what is the Island. Is there really any explination to it? Who are these people, why are they here? All the question we want to know!
Well... The Island is nothing more then a Island! It is unseen, by planes, not on radar, hard to find, and creates healing, life after death, and strange occurances. It moves through time, gets stuck in time, and is a test area for many strange things.
Like the Bermuda Triangle. You pass through it on a plane, in the right time, and you disapear. No trace, but maybe the plane years later if lucky. Its a force, above the ocean that pulls you in, and if you follow the correct cordaniants, at the right time, you can leave.
Some know about it. Mainly those who have been there. But it is not a world wide known place, as those who have returned have kept it safe, from the world, knowing that what the Island pocesses, is un natural yet life changing for some.
So does it choose people to come to it? NO!!! But the people on the island have a say in who they bring. But in terms of the plane crash, they were not exactly chosen. They were just there. Fate works in mysterious ways, I don't think any of them were singled out to be there. It just happened. And regardless, whatever happened Happened, and creates a ripple effect. Yes, they all have interesting issues, that seem to have interesting outcomes, and similar emotional problems... ( Dad's, Sin, Bla Bla Bla) But you put a plane together of that many people, and the stats will be that no 2 are the same, and most have the same issues, at a different level. They were simply in the wrong or right place at the right time! The list they talk about is just who they are, where they are from. They have the information or are able to get it on the Island. "your not on the list" well I think Jacob, has a set list after seeing it, and says this is who will be here later, and is trustworthy, t! his is who dies. Its not written in stone, its just who is who and who is there for the long run.
The writers can't make it too much more complex then it is. They have one season left. And they have said, many will be dissapointed, in what it really is. Almost meaning, its really nothing but something that happened.Theory by Paddington Bear
