This is my first time posting here, so bear with me.
If you remember the episode where Jack opereates on bens spinal tumor to save him and he goes through all the conditioning and torture and cages and when jakc confrots him he says "I want you to want to save me," I think ben was talking about when he was a kid back in the 70's. I think that ben knows that his life was changed by going into the temple with richard and that the future would be something totally different if he never had to do that. It was really on jack to save ben in the past, but he was completely against saving him and that led to kate and sawyer helping him.
I would like to hear what anyone else thinks about this!~
