For some reason, I cannot get the idea of Hurley being the Son of Horace. Picture Horace, add a few or many pounds and curl his hair and you have Hurley. There is just something about these two that seem so similar. Although Horace is more incharge and calm knowing what to do, Hurley is frantic and more goofy. I just can't put my finger on it.
So here is what I am thinking......
Amy has Ethan, and the truth comes out that Ethan is infact the son of one of the others. Maybe this happens after Horace, who has had a few too many drinks, and Amy is sick of it and tell him the truth. Horace Bans her from the D.I as well as Ethan. ( We know that Ethan is a other )
Horace who has turned to alchol falls upon Kate with his " How could she do this to me, I just wanted a child, I just wanted someone to love me for who I am cry cry bla bla bla"
Kate feels sorry for him, and after all her "Men issues" she see's that Horace wants the same things she does. A child, to be accpeted for who she is and loved regardless of it.
They hook up.....She gets pregnant. ( Kate curly hair and freckles, mixed with Horace long hair,chunky,facial expressions)
Horace is so happy he is at Kate's every need to become a loving father to there unborn child.
Side Note:
Ben who Kate gave blood to cared for, when he was shot. Gave him to the others, and his innocance is gone. Gets returned to his father. He although is now a "other" and was placed back to act as a spy. Kate Was there for Roger, who Roger developed feelings for, She helps him with Ben, Roger becomes caring, and Ben develops a mother like bond with her, but Kate does not develop feelings for Roger. So Kate decides she cannot get involved with Ben's father knowing what ben is......Roger falls in love with kate. kate falls in love with Horace.
So... after Ben and Roger learn about Horace and Kate, Roger becomes angry again. Picking on Ben, Drinking and just being the bad father he always has been. Meanwhile, Horace is building a shack for He and the Misses. ( The dream lock had where he was building Jacob's Cabin)
Ben not being the child he once was turns on Kate for her ruining everything and turning his father into the bad father he is, when he was happy before. He shoots Kate, and Kate goes into labour. Hurley see's this all ( Older Hurley) and rushes Kate to Juilette.
As kate is dying, Juilette is helping Kate give birth to the child telling her to stay strong stay alive for the baby. Hurley is there with her, waiting till Horace has arrived. Hurley waits with her she delivers a boy as Horace walks in. Horace at kates side begging her to stay strong, she whispers... Call him Hurley and dies.
-Ben when he was in the D.I van says to his Dad he misses her too, after Roger is drinking talking about how he misses someone.
-Hurley can see and find the Cabin
-Mix Horace and Kate = Hurley
-Ben never really treats Hurley as horrible as the other Losties. I think its cause he understands, His mother died at birth too ( even though he killed Kate and hurley does not know Kate is his mother)
So lots and lots of loop holes, Bash away if need be. I am just trying to figure out, how come these 2 H's feel like Father and son and this is the crazyness, I have come up with!!! Theory by TD DIMPLES
