In order to tell a good time travel story, you must deal with the issue of paradox. ABC's Lost is just now at the crossroads of that very issue. Not by coincidence I'm sure, but in "Whatever Happened, Happened," an episode from a couple weeks back, three-year Dharma vet Miles and mind-blown Dharma noob Hurley (both can speak to the dead, btw) have a hilarious, yet very revealing conversation on what exact rules the Lost universe follows when it comes to avoiding the devastation of paradox.
