Okay this is my first theory so don't be harsh. Okay.
Now in dead is dead Bejamin Linus went down to the place where supposedly montum lost his arm or another place by the wall to the temple. When he went down there he fell and went to the monsters chambers. When he went down he was mesmerised about the heiroglyphics and he saw that one wall at the back
On that wall he saw that one egyptian god sitting. I am going to get off subject for just a moment. I believe that that egyptian god was the four toed statue.
Now that little air vent was there and released the smoke monster. The monster showed ben everything we saw in the flashbacks of Alex. When he was forgiven Alex(Smoke Monster) showed up and she slammed Ben against the wall. She told him that she knew he was planning on killing John Locke again and if he touched him it would hunt him down and kill him. Which i think the smoke monster has grown to like john locke.
So Christian and Alex and everyone dead who shows up are the smoke monster. Because the monster judges people and gives them test. Theory by Korey Kelly
