This is my first theory, so be nice!
Like a lot of you I have decided to start watching the series from the begining to pick up the clues we may have overlooked. My current facination is with Ben.
Part of him is still very childlike, he is like a stroppy, resentful, argumentative, confrontatinal teenager. When he walks it is often childlike and he looks at people with deep facination.
This leads me to believe that the child Ben still exists in part but is coupled with some type of bad side. So, is this dark side of Ben a seperate person altogether? When his body was shot and took to the temple maybe he was 'blended' with someone elses to save him and this person was was bad. It would make sense that another body may be needed to save his life and that might explain the need for dead bodies.
Also, his connection with children seems very strong as we have seen in the last episode. He definatly likes playing games and forms bonds easily.
I definatly think that little Ben has never grown up, hense Peter Pan!
