When Faraday was timeflashing with the left behinders (sawyer, juliette, the bald jesus, etc) he stood behind "looking for hig bag" and met Desmond who was still in The Swan and still thought there was an infection in the island (because he left The Swan with the infection suit). So, Faraday told him to look for his mother, etc etc etc etc etc. The important thing is here, there are a few hints that something changed, that the timeline changed (and we can´t say this is because of Desmond, because The Swan hasn´t exploded yet, I´ll talk about it later on this theory, because it´s important).
The hints to say this it´s the fist time we get to see something changed are the following:
Back in season 2 (or 3, I dont remember), the guy who was with Desmond in The Swan said Desmond never went out before, and the first time he does it, he realizes there wasnt any infection and he could went out without the suit. So, if the encounter with Faraday was when that guy was still alive (Desmond didnt kill him yet), that guy couldn´t said that the first time Desmond leave The Swan was when he killed him. And If it was, when he saw Faraday without any suit, he could started to be suspicious about if there really was an infection out there.
So, the timeline changed, or maybe (here comes the big part) WHAT IF THE LEFT BEHINDERS WASNT SKIPPING TROUGH TIME AND WHERE SKIPPING TROUGH DIFFERENT TIMELINES, and now the donkey wheel is back on place, they are all in the same timeline, and I think it´s the last timeline they´ll be on, the end of the game.
So, ¿how come that Desmond didn´t remember his encounter with Faraday until then? Because he didnt remember from that timeline, because then, The Swan exploded and Desmond WAS special, and had the abylity to jump his conciousness through different times and different timelines, so Desmond conciousness went to the timeline Faraday talked to him and remembered he mhad to talk to Ms. Hawking.
So, I do not think the losties in Dharma Time are changing the timeline we got to see in the first seasons, they are on a different timeline, a new and improved timeline where this things happened.Theory by Nahuelll
