Thank you to Monika, who in my last theory acknowledged having read my theories. Much abliged!!!
I had a big thought though. May not end up meaning much, but was too coincidental when I thought of it, not to at least get it out there. So just think about this, and maybe expand on it.
Frank, Locke, Sun, and Ben, those who seemingly landed in 2008 via flight 316, and who are definately on the Hydra Island, all took orders or saw Charles Widmore. Sun and Locke specifically were influenced by him, Ben met with him, and Frank, while more of a stretch, was a member of Widmore's crew during the Freigther incident.
Conversely, the other four on the plane, Jack, Kate, Hurley, and Sayid, all of whom landed for certain in 1977, and who are on the main island, have never seen, taken orders from, or otherwise had dealing with Charles Widmore. Sayid, if you missed it, was shown in 1977 during the previews of next episode.
So what's the deal? I don't really know, but it couldn't be a coincidense could it?
Could it be that they have been seperated into the two sides who will be involved in the "war"? It would seem at least with Sawyer wanting to shoot a young Widmore and later shooting 2 hostiles, and then Locke protecting Widmore as one of "his people" that those two are certainly on opposite sides. I don't know where to take this honestly, but I thought of it, and hadn't seen it anywhere. It must mean something.s Theory by Locke4God
