Prior to last week, I was of the opinion that the past could not be changed. Whatever the characters did would have the same results.
After last week's episode, I'm not so sure.
It comes down to a simple comparison that I haven't heard anyone make.

There are not the same number of people. There is someone extra (third person from the right) in the second picture.
Hmmm....maybe Christian is concocting a way to change the past.
