Up until a few minutes ago, I believed that the past could not be changed. I believed that no matter what the characters do in the past, the present (future to them) will remain the same.
Then I compared two photos:

Look carefully. There is a girl (I think its a girl) in the back row (third person from the right) in the second photo. She is not there in the first photo. I don't think this is a production mistake. Isn't it funny that at the same time, a girl was seen behind sun sitting at the desk.
Think about, she wasn't there when in the LeFleur timeline, Kate, Hurley, etc. had there picture taken. But there she is in the photo in Christian's hand. He told Sun that she'll be taking adifficult trip or something like that. Will the other girl be tagging along, too? And, if so, is this the writers' way of saying the past can be changed?
