I believe that this time loop that some have been going through has been going for a while....I believe that Ben, will turn out to be an Unlikely hero, but a hero non the less......currently Ben is trying to get everyone back to the island to undo what he had done....After realizing that the others, dont really want him for their leader he realizes that he must use the islands resource to go back and change the past...this is why he is being help by some on the outside...and this is why he tells the others if you dont go back , your friends are in danger....danger how...well he knows he Kills all the DI people and right now, the Losties have friends in the DI...but mostly Ben wants to stop young Ben from turning and causing the Purge...I believe that the Others are actually the bad ones..who keep looking for their leader or KING? or sacrificial Lamb......
