This Place Is Death gave us another look at Christian Shepard talking to John Locke. We all know they met before in Cabin Fever when Christian claimed he Spoke on Behalf of Jacob.
Now there is an Obvious Similarity between Locke and Christian that is happening. Christian Shepard Died in Australia, and was brought to the island Dead in a coffin on 815. I think there is enough evidence to suggest he is either alive (or at least alive in some way), or was even Reincarnated by the island, after seeing the Mobisode "So It Begins" and the episode Cabin Fever. There is a big hint in his name Christian, or Christ, who died (to save mankind no less) and was resurrected.
The same looks set to happen to John Locke. He Dies in LA and will be brought back to the island in the coffin, where he will be reincarnated by the island.
So how are the 2 connected? It could be that Jacob used Christian to Reincarnate, and will do the same with John Locke. Jacob needs someone who died off of the island to reincarnate, possibly because when you die on the island your mind/soul stays there. To quote John Locke "nothing stays buried on this Island". It could be that Jacob is so old, that his Body has perished and he needs a dead body to reincarnate them as himself. Thus why Christian (actually Jacob using this theory) tells John that HE had to move the island, so he leaves and dies OFF the island, and gets brought back to be reincarnated as Jacob.
If I had read this theory a year ago I would have Laughed at it but now its starting to make sense. Locke has always been sure he had a destiny, and a connection with Jacob, and this would prove it. Theory by Fate Found
