You know, there have to be other others unless you can explain this to me!
Ben dispatched Goodwin to and spy on the tail survivors, but only Goodwin, and Goodwin showed up by himself. He was in the process of making a "list" for whatever reason, but the first night Ana Lucia says that 4 or 5 of them were taken. She says the next night 9 of them were taken. By who?
Goodwin couldn't have taken all of those people with him. He left by himself and after running across the island would have just barely made it by the end of the first day. Nobody went with him, so how could he have drug 9 people off the beach by himself without anybody noticing? Seems unlikely.
Also this could admitedly be related to Ben's others, but when Jin is first caught by the tailies, he and I believe it was Eko are hiding under a bush watching a group of Others walk by. They seemed incredibly ragged, even for Ben's group, but even more suspicious was there was definately a kid with them holding a bear. Who the heck was that? I've never seen a kid with Ben's group outside of Alex and her man, and the person with the bear seemed to be around 8 or 10 years old.
Regardless, even if Ben's group had taken all of these people, you wouldn't think they killed them. So somewhere out there are 14 tailies living it up with Ben's group, and from the look of it, they are free to roam around based on the fact that we've seen Cindy roaming around freely. In fact, I'd be willing to wager that entire group that walked passed Jack's holding cell on the Hydra where Cindy came up to say hi, were the stolen tail survivors.
So what were they doing? If they were on some sort of list, then the fact that they all came from the tail is meaningful. The tail broke off to seperate those who were meant to be with Ben's group from our main group of losties. After all, all of the other tailies are dead outside of Bernard, and if you remember he wasn't supposed to be in the back of the plane.
So my prediction is that this group that was stolen off the beach, are very similiar to what Jack is experiencing after having returned on 316. That group that includes Cindy were coming back. They were on the plane expecting to make it back to the island. Evidence of that is that Cindy has never seemed shocked to be where she is.
If that is true, then it makes you wonder what happened to those in the back of 316. If Jack and co. were stranded on the island, you might think that those in the back have crashed similarly to how Jack and co. did in season 1, becoming new losties. Maybe not, but either way I don't think the plane has gone on to Guam. Reason being, how could the island let a plane land that had 6-8 passengers including the pilot simply dissappear off of it. It would be a world wide newsstory and people would never stop looking in the place they dissappeared, eventually finding the island when it showed back up.Theory by Locke4God
