In the Pilot Episode, Part 2, right before Charlie infamously says, "guys, where are we?" we heard Rousseau's distress call on the radio. We also hear a man's voice which says how many times the message was repeated. Call me crazy, but I think it sounds a lot like Christian Shepard.
Jack and Claire would have been the only ones who would have recognized his voice (aside from Sawyer, who only met him once, and was barely listening to the radio at all). Claire didnt go because of her baby, and Jack uncharacteristically didnt go either, only because he was busy treating the air marshal.
The voice on the radio Rousseau and her team heard earlier this season sounded a lot like Hurley. Lost is full of parallels, so I dont think it is unlikely that it could be Christian's voice in the 815er's message, very similar to hearing Hurley say the numbers.
The message was playing for over 16 years, according to Sayid. If the O6 returned to Dharma time on the island when they came back, it could also make sense that Hurley's radio call was made around 16 years ago. 1988 (Rousseau's team crashes) - 16 = 1972, which makes sense as Dharma was on the island during the 1970's and early 80's. I'm not positive Hurley's message was playing for 16 years like Rousseau's was, but it could (those parallels).
What does Christian's voice on the message mean? I dont know. We dont even know what Hurley's voice on the message means.
At that point in the show, we had never even seen Christian. So if it turns out to be his voice, we know the writers had EVERYTHING planned, just like they had the white tennis shoes in the pilot.
I thought this was pretty interesting, what do you think? Theory by adamb34
