There have been speculations that the water bottle from Ajira Airlines found by the group when they came across the deserted camp was from the plane that brings the O6 back to the island. This scene and time period obviously seems to be from their perspective, the future. Some might wonder why there seems to be no plane wreckage. For one, if there was any from the Ajira plan, maybe our Lostaways weren't near that location and never saw it.
My theory is that there was no crash of Ajira Airlines with the O6 on it, it landed! Follow me here. Ben somehow gets the O6 together and they embark to the island. But they don't land on the island, they land on the Alcatraz island that Jack, Kate and Sawyer were taken to in season 3. Why else were Kate and Sawyer enlisted to help clear rocks to make a landing strip? Ben, since he has gone through this time loop before, or because Jacob knows what is to happen, orders the landing strip built so that the plane can safely land.
So, the Ajira Airlines plane with the O6 land there. Hmmm, how do they then travel to the main island? They use outriggers! The same ones that Locke and his group come across with the Ajira bottle. Theory by James S
