Well, so, i've been reading a lot of theories around here, and they gave me a lot of clues of what may be going on.
So, we saw the island 'dissapearing' from the face of the earth, but, it wasn't just normal dissapearing, it was some sort of imploding. We even saw water covering the hole it had left.
Well, here comes my theory. The 70 hours Ms. Hawkings said where the time our on-island losties may have been lost, leveling the missing time on island, the same time missing from its continous dephasing.
We saw faraday making experiments about it, and that is something anyone nearly mentioned. So, I believe the island is somehow is left vibrating from it's act of vanishing, and also re-placing it self into normal off-island time. This would take 70 hours.
Let's remember that events that had took place on-island, let's say, time travel, meeting early others, had took like (and that's just my guess) 5-10 hours in biologic time. So we'll be seeing 70 hours more of time travel from Locke, Sawyer and Co.
And after that time, island will be gone forever, thus, sincronizing with all of their past forms and vanishing from all times. It will never exist anymore. Due to jughead? Due to physics?
