So we now know several things for sure about Dr. Chang's baby.
1. Its a boy
2. He is of Asian decent
In my opinion there are 3 possible outcomes of who the baby is.
1. Its just a baby and has no significance to the story line. But we as "Lost fans", we have to think everything means something. So...
2. It is Miles as a baby. This seems to be the popular theory but I am not so sure. First just because the baby is Asian does not mean it has to be Miles. But Miles does have "I see dead people" qualities and wanted to stay at the Island instead of leaving to go back to the freighter and his age would be about right from baby in "Because you left" to current. It is also classic Lost to show us a baby, then have Charlotte mention she wants to find where she is born, and have the audience think it is Charlotte but actually being Miles. Or.....
3. Lost is an amazing show and I think they can do much better and create a mind blowing concept. Opton 3, Mr. Paik is actually the baby. Yes I said it, Mr. Paik, Suns father is Pierre Chang's baby. Here are my reasons. The baby and Mr. Paik are both Asian. Since time travel is involved anything is possible. We have a pretty sure that Daniel is filming Pierre, Comicon video. We hear the baby crying. Lets say Daniel is holding the baby at some point trying to make him stop crying and the light comes and he time travels to the past. We also know that anything a time traveler has with them will time travel with them (not so sure about a human but it is Lost). We also know that Widmore and Paik are friends or Buisness associates. So Daniel now travels back in time to some point with Baby Paik, but then Baby Paik is no longer with Daniel or any other time traveler so he stays at that point on the Island. The time baby Paik travels back could be when Widmore is even youn! ger than we saw in "Jughead" and Paik and Widmore grow up with each other on Island, hence how they became friends/business assocaites.
I know there could be some holes in option 3 but anything is possible now in our beloved show.
I am leaning more towards No. 1, I think No. 2 is too obvious and No. 3 is the coolest but I dont think Mr. Paik has a big enough role established for them to put so much into the story line now.
