Well what do you know? This season's premiere was once again a total success. I really enjoyed it. I have also read many many many theories since i first joined this site 2 years ago and many of them have really made their points as almost valid!
Call me pessimistic but i stand to what i have always said form the beggining: This show, all the action, fantasy, drama and story is a way of the producers (who i admire the most cause you have to be a genius to create a show of that magnitude) telling us that all of their work won't matter until we have learned to value and always try to make our lifes better. To be better people.
Is the world coming to an end? Well in the show this is hinted many times but unless the survivors (and by extension us, the audience) learn to live our lifes as best as we can, the end will definately come.
I seriously believe that if the producers are going to present to us a decent ending of the series, they will have to surprise even themselves. I know that as you will read the next lines you are definately going to rate my "theory" with just one star lol but listen to me when i say that lost is not just another stupid we see on tv.
To me the series may end as following
1) The entire cast are actual actors who play in a show. The irony would fit perfectly to a show that has so many mysteries yet to be solved.
2) This is a story in a loop. Since you can't change the past Jack will always open his eyes and head straight for the burning wreckage of the plane crash, exaclty as he does in the pilot.
3) No explanation is given. A mysterious ending should fit a show that it has been mysterious from its very beggining.
4) This is a true story that has actually happened and we will get to meet the actual survivors of the plane crash through interviews after the show ends.
LOL I know, go ahead and crucify me, give me my one star i deserve it lol! But mark my words when i tell you this yet again: The show has the sole purpose of making the audience from tv-alcholics to better people. This show is too great (and crazy) to finish with a common surprise ending just like many other shows.
