My theory is very short not back up with too much evidence. Although there are many ways you all could rebut my argument just think about it for a second. Darlton has told us that Jacob has been on the show before but we have never heard he/she/it speak. Therefore my theory is that Vincent the dog is Jacob. Not necessarily all the time, but Jacob chooses to transform(i know there is a better word than transform, but for now I guess it will do) into Vincent to keep an eye on the Losties. Vincent obviously knows his way around the Island because he always seems to find his way back. Also Vincent was the first person Jack saw when he woke up on the Island. How and why was Vincent where Jack was? Completely off the wall theory, but what Darlton said about Jacob being seen on the show, but never with lines makes me think Vincent is a definite possibility. Who Knows with this show? Don't be too mean haha
