I too am sorry if I am the millionth person to notice this but...
Last night I finished up season 4 in order to prepare for season 5 tomorrow night. In season 4 we see (I don't know if its for the first time or not... I cannot remember when what is revealed on LOST anymore...) but we learn that Locke's mother was very young and her name is Emily. She get's hit by a car while running from her mom and gives birth to a very premature Locke. *** Once he's born she cries, "call him John...or name him John" one or the other.
After I finished season 4, I decided to watch some of 3 bc it had been so long since I'd seen it. I decided to start with the man behind the curtain.
In the man behind the curtain, we learn of Ben's birth. Ben would be younger then Locke... I'm sure most would agree (if this hasnt been established) Ben's father and mother are on a hike and she goes into labor. Has the baby and says, "call him Ben... or name him Ben..." either one.
Her name is also Emily.
She looks like she could be an older version of young Emily (locke's mom)
What if she faked her death after Ben and has spent the rest of her life working for the island...jacob or whoever or whatever and is trying to get the two of them (Locke and Ben) both on the island.
I think it would be a nice twist. What makes me believe it could be true is not the name, the look/appearance of the mom(s) but the fact that there was a good bit of time between the revelation of the two births.
Let me know. Again, I didnt start really getting involved in all these blog's till pretty recently so this may be a known theory...
