In early seasons we saw that some people who were in the crash were being taken by the others according to a list.
Lately we have been wondering if these same people are jumping around in time, same as our beloved losties.
Let's say that the taken are also jumping around. Now we assume that most of them are at this mysterious Temple. So we know that when they start jumping they will always be in the same area they were in before they jumped.
If the Temple has always been a hide out for the others, then no matter how far back the taken go they will still be in the Temple. Or at least as long as it has been around.
For an unforseen reason we know that the 06 coming back is important. So they have something that needs to be done. The losties still running around on the island have been or will be central in all the things that have happened since they crashed.
Think of the taken as a non active particapent in the things that have been happening since the crash.
At some point while in the Temple they have jumped far enough back to be noticed by the past others. The others knowing that odd time things happen on this island believe these people when they tell them who they are. Their names are taken down and stored. The info on how they get there is also noted.
So in the future when 815 crashes on the island the others are expecting them. They use the list to get the specific people out of the way. So everything can play out with the special game pieces as needed.
