Long time reader, first time poster!
I was thinking more about Abbadon; and he is indeed quite a mysterious character. Whilst we are not 100% sure who he works for, I am going to hazard at a strong guess and say he’s a double agent. He works for Widmore, but his real alliance is to Ben and the others.
Huh? Why… what… are you sure…?
Well let’s look at the following examples.
Abbadon spent time with John whilst he was in a wheel chair, this would suggest a pre-island moment. Ben could have asked abbaddon to watch over him and push him towards his destiny. This is quite similar behavior to Richard.
The team assembled by abbadon, which consists of Miles, charlotte, Daniel and the deceased Naomi. All have a skill which I believe Ben knows off but as of yet does not which to disclose.
Ben’s personal relationships with Miles and Charlotte have been questioned by other theories; this consists of miles requesting 3.2 million dollars and Ben claiming charlottes identity to be someone who was born in England. I highly doubt someone as knowledgeable as Ben, not knowing charlotte being born on the island.
I suspect Ben asked Abbadon to appoint certain individuals to his team much like he did with Michael.
Why did Abbadon visit Hurley?
I think Ben sent him to see if Hurley was broadcasting information about people still being on the island, to ensure that Widmore didn’t get the information he needed.
Anyhow, just some thoughts put together. I will be interested to hear people’s feedback.
