Ok to start off with my english is lame at times and is not my mother tongue. Secondly im not writing this for mega ratings just to help along the lines of jacob's identity, id appreciate any feedback or errors that you can find, and i hope you can take some ideas or inspiration with you from this. thank you.
Following along the idea of Lee el Camael's theory "the bad things that happened" i've been thinking about the idea of Jack is Jacob and the shephard's link to Jacob. Lee's theory used the following quotes................................
"i had a girlfriend once who said i talked in my sleep, whatever it was she didn't like it" Jack....Raised by Another
"you are a leader, a great man, but this makes you lonely,frightened, and angry" achara....Stranger in a strange land)
"he who walks among us, but is not one of us. that's what it says, your tattoo" Isabel.....stranger in a strange land
i'd like to add one more...........
"the lord is my shepherd" Eko....23rd Psalm
OK first i think it makes sense that the Jack we know and pity is not actually Jacob, i think this is clear simply because of the fact we saw a flash of Jacob in "the man behind the curtain". And although you can pass it as Locke with a bit of photoshop, Cuse did state that it was the wardrope guy who played the role of Jacob, also there are comments about things remaining a mystery which are answers to Jacob Questions. I believe we will never truly see Jacob i think what he looks like is completely irrelevant, i'm pretty sure if he was supposed to be a character we know they would not of showed that flash of him.
so I'm suggesting Jacob is Jack's Grandfather.
Now that's out the way it's time to get down to the theory, first off i came across an interesting article that makes alot of sense, it stated that Aaron's dad Thomas is related to Ben check out the pictures here.....................

still with Jacob in my mind i believe Ben could have a child with someone, my first thought would be Annie. The ages are right for ben to be his dad, and the similarities look to coincidental. I did think when i saw Thomas the first time that there was something strange about him, his hair is similar to Ben's and seems a bit old fashioned for someone so young. We know about Daddy issues on the show and it seems strange thomas's paintings are in Widmore's office, also what makes that link interesting is the fact Thomas pulled a Desmmond "i'm sorry i can't do this" and gathering by Thomas's painting in Widmore's office we'd assume that he and Widmore had contact. it could well be that widmore bought his painting for a substantial amount of money on the condition he stayed away from claire after all
richard Maulkin stated that "the father must not a part of the babies life".
Anyway this is relevant as in the bible Jacob is the great grandfather of Aaron, Moses is the Grandson of Jacob. Benjamin is the son of Jacob also, isaac (of Uhluru) is Jacob's father. Esau is Jacob's brother.
ok i get this makes sense but really doesn't. But take into account that Jacob doesn't appear to be Completely human, so remember that Jacob being anyone's relative could be in a form of creation in the physical sense not the biological sense.
I'll start off from Isaac, Isaac is Jacobs Father, we know that Isaac in Lost lives in a geographical location that has properties to heal like the island does and we also know that people like Richard Alpert never age it has been said by the Darlton that there are properties which allow richard not to age. So i propose that Isaac could be Jacobs dad! Also we know Christian has a link to Australia through Claire but he doesn't go and see claire then go back to LA he stays around Australia. I think Australia is very important and maybe this is overlooked take this comments for example
"Australia's the key to the whole game" Hurley (the shape of things to come)
"I went on my walkabout convinced I was one thing, but I came back another. I found out what I was made of, who I was" richard abbadon (cabin fever)
We know Isaac lives in the outback and could well have encountered Abbadon, there is definitely a link there. Also Martha toomey lives in the outback because of Sam and his curse (the numbers).So as crazy as it is or seems, Isaac could well be Jacob father or part of his creation.
I believe Christian had a real Father but like Ben had to sacrifice him aking Jacob his Father in the spiritual adoptive sense. It would make sense also because that would make
Jacob the Grandfather of Moses who parallels Jack - led his people to a high place (radio tower) to get them saved, also moses was a shephard! Also this would make Jacob the great grandfather of Aaron as it is stated in the bible.
So know i think that Aaron is super special because he was born from 2 sons of Jacob who are Ben's and Christian's blood line. Maybe this is what scares richard Maulkin that aaron is so powerful, i think he meant it when he said claire had to raise her so the connections of where Aaron came from are not revealed. This would make aaron a very wanted person, this comes back to the theory that widmore was in contact with Thomas because he knew and i dont know if its a sinister motive or a very decent motive but Widmore is aware of Aaron and got Thomas out of his life pretty quickly.
But back to the original theory It is obvious the Shephards are very close to Jacob, infact the only people we see interact in Jacobs Cabin are Christian (possible son), Locke (possible son after sacrificing his father), Ben (possible son) Claire (possible mother of his great grandson). Biologically claire is in fact a shephard, so apart from Ben who seemed to be attacked the only time we saw him in the cabin. It wold only make sense for jacob to part of the Shephard family.
