Hello again. Today I will talk about death of fathers/mothers/husbands of important characters in show and talk about some near death cases. This theory is connected to mine "Ghosts theory", so it would be better, if you read it first.
But characters first:
1)Jack. His father died in Sydney, but we don't know what is the true reason of his death. On Island Jack can see him in a couple of scenes, later on he finds coffin, where his father was. The coffin is empty.
2)Locke. His mother was near death and because of that she gave birth to Locke so early. And later on Emily tells to Locke: "You don't have a father". Em...Does that mean that true father of Locke is not Antony Cooper? Does that mean, that his real father died? Cooper is a liar, so we don't have to believe his words...
3)Ben. His mother (named Emily) died and Horace picked his father to work in Dharma. When his mother was dying, Horace gave a strange look to his (Horace's, not Ben's) companion.
4)Claire. See "Jack".
5)Walt. A "special" boy. His mother died two weeks before the crash.
6)Libby. Her husband died and left huge amount or money, I suppose. He left a boat too. Libby gave it to Desmond and finally was shot by Michael. But...Remember who said "Don't do this, Michael"?
7)Shannon. Her father died in "car accident". Again, those stupid cars!
8)Kate. She killed her biological father, Wayne. And that's the point to all bad things, that happened to her.
9 and 10)Charlotte and Miles. We suggest, that their parents were scientists from Dharma. All dharmies on Island were wiped out.
11)Aaron. We don' know exactly, but Claire may be finally dead.
12)Eko. His brother is dead.
All of this characters are involved in many Island events. Some of them died on Island and became some sort of ghosts and whisperers. And only people from Island can now see them.
So, now is the point. In many cases of character's stories, death of family members finally lead them into Island. And some characters saw them into the Island.
If we remember, Island is turning point in life of all people, who were there. So maybe the loss of a human is the price to change yourself? In "Ghosts" I said, that Island needs lives and this thing matches here too.
Good luck in revealing Lost mysteries!
