Rose and Bernard. I know everyone has been speculating them as a possible solution but I believe I can prove it will be revealed to be them.
Evidence 1: The Pierre Chang video from comic con.
Evidence 2: The comments made by the producers at comic con stating specifically that they will get rid of "flashes" meaning flashback and flashforeward. They are going to flash sideways.
Evidence 3: Spoilers about looking for an antique ship, the old drug plane.
Analysis: I have thought about the show. We have half the cast in one time 2007 and many places (Santa Rosa, Korea, L.A., wherever Sayid is next week, etc.) And we have the other half on the island in one place. But probably several different times. The show last season even when Desmond and Sayid were on the freighter found ways to showcase Jack or Locke for at least one scene during an episode. So the odds that we will see all the 06 storylines for an episode then focus on the islanders is not realistic. Also they might have to pay big name actors reguardless of how many episodes they were a part of and might want to get their monies worth by showcasing the cast in all the episodes. So what would solve this and make sense for flashing sideways? They show some stuff with the 06, then flash to "the bad things" on the island. There wont be too much time to then have individual flashbacks from there so realistically I believe the island is going to jump around in time. The comic con video proves that Faraday, and we can assume Juliet, Sawyer, et all also, go back at least to the 1980's during the Dharma period. If they are going to also go back enough to show us the black rock ship, its very possible they will take the storyline back into the 1950s.
The only leap in my theory is I'm assuming Adam and Eve are going to end up being characters we've already met. If they are random new people it wont have any impact on the viewers.
So now out of the characters we have met that are left on the island we have one pair left. And that would be Rose and Bernard.
Evidence 4: Bernard was trying to build an sos sign, (in their only centric episode), and he wanted to use black and white stones.
Evidence 5: The bodies were explained by Jack in season 1 to be a man and a woman, and be around 50 years old. And with the bodies Jack found a black and white set of stones.
Analysis 2: The island will go back in time fifty years and Rose and Bernard will die then.
