This is my personal Season Five forecast. I am predicting a structure for the upcoming season that would be both very interesting, and very fulfilling for the current story lines.
I believe there will be 2 stories being told at the same time.
1)The O6 and Ben trying to get back to the island.
2)The island after the finale.
I'll give you a little more detail on each, then simply explain the time difference. (Which I believe too many theorists over complicate and end up confusing themselves.)
1)The O6 and Ben
They attempt to get back to the island in the time after Jack meets Ben at Locke's coffin.
This will be interesting bc it will be hard to convince everybody, most prominent, Kate and Sun. Also Sayid and Hurley's scene in the finale cooked up the idea of a threat. Hopefully Abaddon, bc he is a great antagonist.
2) The island.
After Ben moved it, Locke is left there to rule the others. I think we will see what happens with Locke and the Others,and what he learns about mythology. Ultimately we will see why Locke leaves the island and dies.
The Finale
Both stories will catch up. We will see Locke's exodus from island or death, and we will see O6 returning to island.
Both operate at different times. 06 in 2007,Locke on island in 04'.
There is no time jump for island, bc Locke's 3 year journey on island as leader will be told, at same time, and then the two stories catch up in 2007 as i described.
Hopefully they will have episodes both in real world in 2007, and on island in 2004, slowly catching up to each other.

I'd like to hear any ideas that coincide with mine, also some that include Faraday's fate.
