So, hello again. This is my second theory and before I describe it, I'd better give my apologizes for two things. First thing is my english, because it's not my mother language. And second is an occasion when this theory was posted on another site by another man - in that case that man should contact me im my ICQ (number is 2804402439). And beware: this theory is big.
So, let me begin. I recently noticed that 5 of 6 (and some other characters) members of O6 were on Island because of their parents:
1) Jack. He was on plane because of fathers death.
2) Aaron. He was on plane because of Claire))And she was there with a little help from glorious Christian Shepard.
3)Hurley. His father ruined his normal life. And there was a very, very long road cause of it and in the end Hurley was on plane.
4)Keit (I don't know how to write that name correctly...it is Evengeline Lilly actually). She was tracked by police because of her mother.
5)Sun. With some help from her father.
And so on. Some other characters have the same.
And we can make a suggestion that "mamas and papas" O6 (except Sayid) are actually members of Dharma! And Christian is their leader - he is so connected to Island that he didn't die and is now there). I think. there was an order to put their children in such situations - and we have them O6 plane as a concequence. Yeah, there is Sayid - but I think his parents refused this order and were killed. That also explains why some evil people killed his wife and are trying to track him down too - Sayid is not in Dharma's plans.
If you need an explanation, we'd better look it in the past. The whole story began from the Purge, when Others clearly wiped out all dharmas on Island. But there were many more of them off-Island and they lost connection with it from this moment. So, they tried to find it again...with "help" from their own children. They knew that unstable Island magnetic field could cause a crash. And, I think, a whole Desmond story (when he didn't press the button, remember?) was actually planned by Dharma.
And now we should refer to characters again:
1)Widmore. He is from Dharma and is very angry at Ben for the Purge. He was one of leaders of Dharma on Island, but left it some time before big diversion. Later on, Richard and Ben moved Island with a computer in the hatch and Widmore lost connection with it.
2)Abaddon. I think, he is a spy from Others in Widmore's organization. That explains some things. For example, that scene with Abaddon and Locke where this guy predicts Loske's destiny and give him advise to go to Australia - that is one of reasons why Locke where on Plane. Abaddon wants to save Island, that's why he sends Locke there.
3)And what about Naomi and others? Well, their mission is not just bring Ben to Widmore. They are puppets, manipulated from Others. They do some good things on Island, but the main is decontamination of gas.
Some of their decisions we will discuss later on.
Okay, this is the first part of theory. Plane crash was because of Dharma, parents of O6 are from Dharma and many other suggestions...But now we have to look at a very, very mysterious man to understand them. His name is Jacob.
Well, there are plenty of theories about him. Some think he is evil. Some think he is good. Some think he is opposite to Christian. And so on. We will discuss him right now.
Actually Jacob is the guy, who represents Island, right? But we saw only a small image of him in on episode and other time we see only Christian in his cabin. Yeah, really, Christian is evil (there are plenty of evidences of that), but Jack's father represents Island too.
Let me explain. Like human, Island have both dark and light sides in him. Jacob is the one who gives the will of the good side, and Christian is some sort of Lord Vader)). And we can see same thing in organizations: Dharma is evil and Others are good.
So, thats why Jacob give the order for Purge. He is not an evil guy, he just wanted to save himself. Dharma wanted to use Island's power in an unknown propose and we can make a suggestion that this propose was not so good. Christian is really evil, but he also represents Island. He tries to save himself too, but using different methods.
Actually, not Jacob, but Christian is a smoke monster. This monster is an evil part of Island. Look: good side cannot reveal itself, but Christian is a very real guy. And there are Charlotte's words as an evidence to this theory: she was born on Island. So, there were moments when pregnant woman didn't die on Island because of light-side. And Aaron is one guy, who is vey important for both sides (darkness tried to kidnap him), so that's why Claire didn't die.
So, good side is not winning this war between it and darkness. That explains why Jacob-Christian gives such different orders - some of them are given by a light side, and others are from darkness.
And characters again:
1)Christian. I think, he was one of Dharma,a and a very, very big guy there. He was so connected to Island, that after death he represents his evil side. Maybe, Christian is one of Others, just a traitor. And this theory explains his death also. He was dead from that reason, that killed Jeremy Banthem. Remember, we don't know his death reason actually is season 1.
2)Widmore (again). So, another Charles. He was initially a leader of Dharma on Island, but not so evil like Christian Shepard. He didn't so many evil like Jack's father, so he is not dead - Island can only make nightmares for him in that case. Maybe, he is realizing that he was on a wrong side, dut we don't know correctly.
Many things are clear now. And it explains why Jack is the cause of "bad things" on Island. He was the only one who can stop evil-father. And because he left the Island, Locke could not stop darkness. That also explains what "bat things" actually are: dark side winning.
Let me sum all this theories into a whole story:
When Dharma was on Island, their decisions helped a dark-side of the Island (not moon) form correctly. We don't know what they did exactly, but Island was very angry at them.
So, at the head of Dharma's hydra there was standing two man: Christian and Widmore. Their mistake was Ben. Purge was like a painful strike to Dharma: many of them lied dead fron now. But before that dark-side connected to Horace and ordered him to build a cabin, which is actually a place, where darkness could regain it's powers.
But two guys were in safe place. Christian developed new plan of finding the Island and regaining control through Losties. Actually, when Jack thinks that his father is in the bar, Christian is with Dharma)). But light side of Island caused his death. That was Jacob's last decision, made without dark-side.
Christian was so connected to Island, that dark side decided to use him like human, who will represent it. Even then darkness was very strong - it had the powers to show itself. And Jacob was so weakened, that he couldn't do that.
Widmore caused the crash through Desmond. And the plan was in charge. Locke was an obstacle, but darkness made him to do such things like breaking in the hatch, while light-side was suffering. Thats why Locke lost his ability to talk - it was a banishment from Jacob for wrong decisions.
So, Christian's plan was great and it worked well. O6 with Jack left the Island and Jacob couldn't defeat his opponent without younger Shepard. There was Locke, but he was so weakened by darkness that he was not an obstacle from now to Dharma. He left the Island to return with Jack, but darkness caused his death. And again Ben is the guy, who can save the Universe...
Good luck in revealing Lost mysteries!
