Well When the people left behind on the island got moved with the island they got moved back to 1970s and the DHARMA initiative are back inhabiting the barracks, using the hatches and vans, the people left on this island gradually turn to the others and make a purge on the dharma like the hostiles did, this is also how we can learn about Danielle and about the hatches and Dharma, eventually later on when sawyer group have joined and become others, Jack and the other oceanic 6 along with random other people crash again on the island only this time Sawyer, Juliet, Miles and the others are The Others!. So the events of the past 4 seasons relive until Ben moves the island back again and it all starts again, this could explain that the two bodies in the cave were Sawyer and Juliet from the past.
This all sounds slightly confusing ut I am convinced that this is how it will go and so the ending of lost will be Jack and others crashing on island for a third time reliving the 4 seasons and we know that the cycle will be going on forever unless Ben doesn’t move the island and kills Charles widmore, this of course does not explain other mysteries like the monster, Jacob and the four toed statue but if it does go back to the 70s that will be explained and shown there.
