A long time ago, the Black rock crash landed on the island, Christian, widmore, hanso, abbadon, and many others where on board.A sacred series of events must begin, where each person must overcome their personal demons to fufill their part in the chain. Through tasks and trials,wars against the hostiles, and many of the same adventures that we have seen on the island in the preceeding 4 seasons, a leader was chosen.
The leader was chosen by jacob, the voice of the island, able to manifest his self in a cloud of black smoke, people or animals. Jacob most commonly presents himself as the last chosen one of the island. Christian shepard was chosen by jacob to rule the island. Many people liked the choice of christian as the leader, many didnt, and all some cared about was getting home.
many years later, another group of people landed on the island, this time, on purpose. they where seeking a mythical treasure hidden deep within the island, they where there to steal it and exploit it for personal gain.
Jacob became angry, the hostiles took refuge in the temple and prepared for the worst. many people stood with christian, while a large group of black rock survivors geared up for an island escape, making things worse, as they had yet to fufill their part of the puzzle.
Christian was very loyal,but he lost favor with jacob because of his mistakes. Jacob looked to Widmore to take his place, reaching out to him with visions of people from his past and strange dreams. Jacob asked christian to move the island, knowing that doing it would make him unable to return. After a large group of survivors sailed off the island, christian turned the wheel, moving the island and sending him far far away, unable to return.
Widmores reighn over the island was ruthless and unforgiving. He realized the amazing potential of the islands properties, and sought to use it for his own greedy intentions. Widmore began to put together a plan to seize total control of the island and when jacob objected, widmore lured him into a cabin, and then trapped him by circling it ash from the islands volcano.
After many years of collecting important minds, scientists, mathmeticians, widmore created his own science commune on the island, and totally harnessed it power, putting many stations in the island to monitor its different powers, and regulate their unpredictability. Widmore grew over confident, wishing to live it up in the high class life he finally created for himself, he began to leave the island more and more, building his fortune from the dharma initiative in the real world.
During his trips from the island, a young boy named ben came to island, this boy was especially receptive to jacobs messages. One day ben ran into a former christian shepard loyalist named Richard. Richard was shocked that ben could see the visions and now hazy unreadable messages from jacob, and decided to take him to jacobs cabin. Ben was instructed to sacrifice someone loyal to move the island this time, as someone rescourceful was now needed to control things from outside the island. He was also instructed to eradicate all dharma members, and purge the island of widmores disease once and for all. Richard stayed, as his part of the puzzle is to instruct all leaders on the mysteries of the island. Ben chose abbadon to move the island, and shortly before the island was moved, ben with richard and the "hostiles" help, gassed the island, killing everyone. Ben at this point was instructed to free jacob from the cabin, but decided not to, also being overcome with greed and powe! rlust.Widmore was furious, young ben stealing the island out from under him, moving it leaving him lost.
During all of these events,christian shepard is back in the real world, he raises a family and tries not to think about his past, but he knows he shouldnt have left the island, and leaving the chain incomplete will eventually lead to disaster. The weight of such problems turns him to drinking, and strage things start happening.He hears rumors of hanso's journal floating around, giving dangerous clues to the key to finding the island. A bloody game of cat and mouse went on between abbadon and widmore, trying to find the journal and secure other clues, like special people born on or concieved on the island, a young girl named charlotte being one of them. Escaped members of the island start contacting christian, they are spaced out all over the globe, a monk,a psychic, a soldier, mrs. hawking and many others.
Jacob, in a final cry for help, sends a message that ben must be replaced as leader, and a new chosen one must be brought to the island. another mystical chain of events must begin. A race begins to complete this event before widmore finds the island again first. Abbadon, christian, the island survivors and even richard under bens nose start to put the peices in the right places. A new group of people are being put together, and from that group the chosen one will be taken.
Afterchristian goes to australia to put the final pieces into play, he has but one final task to complete, and thats to return to the island. With his task complete except for that, jacob finally lets christians long-dead liver fail, unable to die untill now. The stage has been set, and now christians body can be taken back to the island to help steer the events. A particularly strong possible leader comes to australia and loads christians body onto a plane filled with very special people, and completes the chain. This young man is named jack, christians own son.
Oceanic 815 crashes onto the island a few days later, as fate would have it. Christian is there to wake his son up, and start the series of events.
the past 4 seasons have been this history repeating its self, with the unfufilled island escapees needing to return another former leaders body back to the island,(locke) all the time battling widmore and continuing the cycle.
Will jacob be freed and will the islands ultimate goal be reached? Or will the chain be broken again? what do you think?
