After watching "Cabin Fever" we have all observed Horace Goodspeed trapped in what I can only guess was some kind of time loop. Several times his nose began to bleed very similar to the way Desmond's nose bled in the Constant. So my theory is that Horace was once one of the men involved in the time experiments going on all over the island (be it at the Swan or the Orchid). Daniel Faraday could tie into Horace's story some way as well being that they are both Mathematicians possibly working towards the same goal... Controlled Time Travel. Much like Daniel Faraday, Horace came to the island looking to learn and understand the unique properties of the island but ended up becoming his own guinea pig and traveling time. One thing that continues to puzzle me is the reason as to why Jacob decided the start squatting in Horace's DI Getaway? As far as we have seen the Dharma Initiative has not had any direct ties to Jacob besides Ben. So when did Horace! 's Cabin become Jacobs Cabin? That's a whole other theory
